We are pleased to announce the official release of the Smart Cabin API Standard Ver. 1.0. This standard provides unified specifications for Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) interfaces, helping to realize the vision of Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV). 

We aim to assist supply chain vendors and OEMs simplify hardware interfaces, support modular design, and adapt to various supplier needs, thereby shortening development time, improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing overall competitiveness. We also created a survey and invite members to share their feedback on this standard!

Additionally, the highly anticipated 2024 Hon Hai Technology Day (HHTD24) will take place on October 8-9. This year, the event will showcase new smart EV solutions and AI applications in Smart Manufacturing, Smart EV, and Smart City. We invite all members to join us, either online or in person. Under the leadership of our CEO, Jun Seki, MIH is focused on standardization. Following last month's release of the Powertrain Standard Ver. 1.0, we are now launching the Smart Cabin API Standard Ver. 1.0, demonstrating our commitment to reforming the alliance. We are working on multiple standard projects and will continue to release more to help our members accelerate product development. [Standard Release] MIH Smart Cabin API Standard Ver. 1.0

MIH has released the Smart Cabin API Standard Ver. 1.0, which provides unified specifications for integrating Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) interfaces. The goal of this standard is to help meet the diverse needs of suppliers, OEMs, and end users:

Suppliers: Reduce development costs and enhance adaptability to different vehicles and market needs.

OEMs: Require solutions that are highly competitive, flexibly integrated, and capable of deploying the latest technologies and features.

End users: Desire seamless control and immersive experiences to enhance entertainment and safety in the cabin environment.

[Upcoming Event] Foxconn's Flagship Event "HHTD24" on October 8-9! 

Foxconn's flagship event, "HHTD24" (Hon Hai Technology Day 2024), will be held on October 8th and 9th with the theme "Accelerating Imagination." The event will showcase new smart EV solutions and the integration of AI applications in Smart Manufacturing, Smart EV, and Smart City.
