In 2022, MIH Consortium and its partners kicked off several innovation projects within its Interest Groups (IG). The Interest Groups focus on discussing and researching cutting-edge technologies for electric vehicles and policies and serve as a forum for the exchange of diverse ideas. The members share their opinions and insights on sustainable development and standard specifications in the various vehicle use scenarios.MIH has launched the first two Interest Groups: the Carbon Neutrality Interest Group and the Next Generation Communication Interest Group, which have received widespread attention in the ecosystem. Beloware some of the updates this month:
【Carbon Neutrality IG】
Based on the vision of MIH, the Carbon Neutrality Interest Group is formulating the solutions proposed by the International Climate Development Institute (ICDI) on the framework for climate governance of the supply chain to create standard operating procedures for quantification, reporting, and verification of greenhouse gas emissions. The research work will take the entire MIH platform and product life cycle as subjects, and consider all aspects of governance, strategy, risk management, metrics, and target.
The framework aims to integrate important international climate governance indicators including Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), etc.
Next, the interest group will further discuss implementation plans and work in collaboration with members on the following pilot project.
